The ECRI (European Cooperation for Roma Inclusion) project is a European initiative aimed at enhancing the skills of adults working for the inclusion of Roma communities. Faced with restrictive national policies and increasing social tensions, the project develops innovative training processes based on mentoring. Objectives include strengthening the skills of trainers, creating mentors within Roma communities, and raising awareness among local authorities about inclusion. Activities include learning sessions, a mediation platform, a mentorship training program, a mapping of resources, and transnational events. The results aim to valorize the knowledge of Roma communities, enhance the skills of stakeholders, and promote their participation in initiatives for social, cultural, and economic integration. Impacts will be disseminated through educational, social, cultural, economic networks, as well as networks advocating for Roma rights.
