The MCM project aims to address social challenges in Europe, including those related to the economic crisis, immigration, and increasing diversity. By focusing on community mediation and active inclusion, the project seeks to train mediators among migrants and refugees in Sweden, France, Ireland, and the Netherlands. These mediators will act as change agents, promoting inclusion, diversity, and equality in their communities. Objectives include improving the social participation of migrants, increasing their representation in civic leadership and media, enhancing digital skills, bridging formal education and the job market, and fostering understanding of diversity. Expected impacts include the training of 40 to 50 mediators, the toolkit being downloaded by 400 individuals, participation from 100 adult education organizations, and engagement of 250 migrants on the collaborative learning platform. The project also aims for systemic improvements in adult educator training, contributing to greater self-representation of migrants in civic leadership.
