Since 2019, Slowfest has been running workshops for children, in addition to activities dedicated to event professionals. Involving them in Slowfest's workshops (lutherie sauvage, Orchestre poubelle, soundpainting, etc.) is, in our view, the best way of raising their awareness of the ecological transition - and turning them into the enlightened citizens of tomorrow.
They've decided to pool our knowledge with La Roulotte Verte in Belgium, a theatre company working to reduce poverty in rural areas; Officine Creative in Italy, a recycling centre located in the heart of a poor district of Turin; and LABA, a centre of expertise on European cultural engineering.
