The SAFE project, conducted from September 2018 to June 2021 and coordinated by PRODISS, aims to enhance the skills of professionals responsible for the security of musical events in the face of growing terrorist threats in Europe. Project partners are committed to developing structural responses to address the under-qualification of personnel through activities such as training, hackathons, and the creation of certificates. Participants include experts in adult education, safety managers in the music industry, security companies, and technological startups. The project aims to bridge the gap between the responsibilities and skills of security professionals, providing certificates to recognize their expertise. The results and impacts will extend from local to international levels, focusing on the skill development of end beneficiaries facing terrorist threats. The SAFE project defends our democracies by strengthening the capacity of populations against threats, emphasizing the importance of adult education in event security, particularly for music companies, security firms, and national and European public authorities.
