The "JAZZ(s)RA" association serves as a cultural hub in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, fostering the development and promotion of jazz and improvised music. This platform brings together stages, festivals, artists, collectives, and educational structures to achieve its goals. The flagship project, a jazz forum, stood out by incorporating the decisions of European student and young artists, making it a trailblazer in education and professionalization. The forum, held from October 13 to 18 in the Pays de Savoie, gathered 500 participants, facilitating exchanges between young artists and decision-makers, with significant support from the European Union. This initiative surpassed expectations, integrating the forum into a major event that reached a much broader audience than initially anticipated. The association aims to align its missions with a large annual event, emphasizing its commitment to youth, intergenerational cooperation, and jazz.
