The program is based on a participatory methodology that draws on the practical expertise of those directly involved. It will help identify the specific risks faced by women in the cultural sector, including chronic reproductive health conditions, endometriosis, menopause, parenthood, gender-based and sexual violence in the workplace, as well as psychosocial risks.
The initiative is organized around several key areas:It will also draw on tools from innovative projects such as #ENDOs and NA Créatives to build on methods already tested in the areas of women’s health, support, and mentoring.
The project aims to create replicable pilot initiatives, such as peer support, cross-organizational mentoring, skills-based sponsorship, and protocols for supporting a return to work. It will also produce shareable resources for small cultural organizations—particularly those without an IRP—to sustainably strengthen practices related to prevention, social dialogue, and support within the performing arts sector.
